Healing In The Ministry of Jesus
When Jesus walked here on earth he didn’t just preach about the kingdom of God, he revealed it in action. Everywhere he went, the sick were healed, the broken were restored, and the hopeless found hope. Healing was not a side activity in Jesus’ ministry, it was central to showing the heart of God. Healing was central to Jesus’ mission. Jesus read from Isaiah in the synagogue at the beginning of his ministry. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news for the poor. Healing Beyond the Physical
When we think of healing, our minds often go straight to the body. God’s healing is so much bigger. Scripture shows us that God heals, minds, emotions, relationships, and even our broken hearts. Learning From Jesus-The Lord’s Prayer
When the disciples watched Jesus pray, they were so moved that they asked Jesus to teach them how to pray like Him. (Luke 11:1) His answer is known today as the Lord’s Prayer. The Lord’s Prayer “Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us…

The Heart of Prayer
When most people pray, they often focus on asking God for help. That’s not wrong, God invites us to bring our needs to him. Prayer is much richer than simply presenting a wish list. A healthy prayer life has balance. It includes worship, honesty, gratitude, and petition. One helpful way to remember this is through the ACTS model: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication. Praise: Adoration For Who God Is Prayer begins best when we start with God and not ourselves. Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.” Praising God lifts our eyes off our problems and put our eyes on how great God is.…
